Job Title: Client Manager-Correspondent Operations

Arc Home LLC., a residential mortgage lender, is owned by AG Mortgage Investment Trust, a publicly traded REIT, and other funds under management of Angelo Gordon, a privately-held investment advisor with approximately $28B of assets under management. Arc Home is a full service, national lender that is an approved Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Ginnie Mae seller / servicer.  With a strong non-QM product set as a result of its relationship with Angelo Gordon and a seasoned management team, the company is planning for substantial growth. 

The Company is seeking a Client Manager in Correspondent Operations.  The position will report to the Correspondent Operations Manager and be responsible to assist Correspondent Lending customers with moving their pipeline through the purchase and servicing transfer processes. The Client Manager will collaborate with underwriting, audit review team and the delivery team to meet agency standards and ensure profitability of closed loan purchases. 

Essential Job Functions

  • Conduct New Client Training
  • Add new account users to the correspondent system (currently MRN) and coordinate setup of automated notifications to correspondents
  • Monitor correspondent’s pipeline including disputed suspense items, other escalated issues and post purchase suspense items for delegated and Non-Delegated correspondents.
  • Correspond with MRN audit team on closed loan delivery review questions and escalations
  • Respond to emails and phone calls received by the customer prior to 2:30pm same day after 2:30pm the following morning by 10:30am
  • Train Non-Delegated Correspondents on underwriting delivery process to move loans through Non-Delegated Channel
  • Assist Underwriting with communication of outstanding conditions in the Delegated, Non-Delegated and Emerging Banker channels
  • Assist funder with obtaining needed documentation for purchase
  • Clear Original Note deficiencies
  • Clear Collateral exceptions with custodians
  • Process Release Requests for correspondents through custodians
  • Respond to requests from custodians on collateral questions
  • Respond to inbound questions from ArcHome Subservicers related to the Correspondent channel
  • Assist Indecomm final doc team with obtaining aged documents for the Correspondent Channel
  • Assist AE’s and Account Managers in AZ with processes and procedures for Non-Delegated and Emerging Banker Channels.
  • Complete post funding adjustments for correspondents
  • Assist MRN receiver/shipper with Note and Mortgage Collateral questions for the all channels
  • Correspond with Signia Docs to obtain New Client Intake forms and outstanding items needed to close Emerging Banker loans.
  • Guide Emerging Banker on process to obtain their UCD credentials for Signia Docs
  • Assist delivery with any errors on correspondent delivery files
  • Work with MRN/Signia Docs IT to successfully test the delivery of UCD reports on Emerging Banker Pipeline

Skills

  • High School diploma/GED required
  • Minimum 3 years of mortgage closing/post-closing experience
  • Current experience and demonstrated proficiency post-closing in the TRID environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of Loan Estimates and Closing Disclosures, FHA, VA, FNMA and FHLMC guidelines along with title insurance, hazard and flood insurance policies and all other loan origination documentation
  • Proven success working in fast-paced, high volume environments - Must be able to manage at least 75 correspondent customer accounts
