Arc Home, a residential mortgage lender, is owned by AG Mortgage Investment Trust, a publicly traded REIT, and other funds under management of Angelo Gordon, a privately-held investment advisor with approximately $28B of assets under management. Arc Home is a full service, national lender that is an approved Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Ginnie Mae seller / servicer.  With a strong non-QM product set as a result of its relationship with Angelo Gordon and a seasoned management team, the company is planning for substantial growth. 

The Company is seeking an Account Executive responsible for the solicitation of new business from Correspondents and Wholesale brokers for the company, the development of existing relationships, and creating familiarity with all Arc Home products, policies and procedures.

Essential Job Functions 

  • Add value to the customer client base through thorough knowledge of Arc’s products and underwriting guidelines – which include NQMs Conventional, FHA & VA
  • Facilitate the prospective customer’s completion of the Customer Application for delivery to and approval by Arc Home 
  • Conduct on-site inspections of client’s premises and gather all applicable financials, resumes, licenses, and contract documentation for submission to senior management for review
  • Participate in the client account assessment and approval process
  • Answer client questions and respond to loan status inquiries during processing
  • Provide training on and interpretation of Company policies and procedures
  • Assess training needs of each client and independently administer to those client needs
  • Commit to visit 9+ accounts and/or prospects weekly while independently managing one’s work schedule to maximize productive time with prospective and active clients
  • Maintain contact with client base on a daily basis to solicit new business and facilitate pipeline progress
  • Monitor customer’s pipelines on a daily basis for prompt cancellation of dead files and timely delivery of live files
  • Provide training and conduct informational meetings for the client base
  • Establish controls to track monthly rates, lock-ins, client contacts, monies due on extended locks, and other information as required
  • Update lock-in file and purge cancellations and expired locks daily
  • Update rate line information and communicate information to clients at least daily

Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred
  • Minimum of five years of experience in mortgage sales with a track record of success in the mortgage industry
  • Current producing client base
  • Must possess solid understanding of wholesale loan origination, underwriting processes and procedures, and mortgage industry standards
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills essential along with strong presentation skills
  • Professional demeanor to effectively interact with all company and client personnel
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to efficiently and consistently produce accurate work and manage time
  • Extraordinary commitment to customer service with excellent client relations skills
  • Analytical ability with an aptitude for figures and calculations as necessary
  • Ability to conduct virtual meetings and trainings
  • Proficiency with computer systems including MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Internet Browsers
  • Account Executives who will be driving on company business will be required to maintain a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a clean driving record
