Arc Home LLC., a residential mortgage lender, is owned by AG Mortgage Investment Trust, a publicly traded REIT, and other funds under management of Angelo Gordon, a privately-held investment advisor with approximately $28B of assets under management. Arc Home is a full service, national lender that is an approved Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Ginnie Mae seller / servicer.  With a strong non-QM product set as a result of its relationship with Angelo Gordon and a seasoned management team, the company is planning for substantial growth. 

The Company is seeking a Full-time Loan Officer - Retention Programs.  The position will report to the Sales Manager and be responsible for communicating and advising potential mortgagors on the mortgage application process, selling applicable loan programs to, and completing loan applications for, each customer using the Company loan origination system(s). 

Essential Job Functions

  • Interview, evaluate, solicit and assist existing customers with their mortgage renewal requests, describing mortgage products, terms and repayment options available.
  • Take mortgage loan applications by phone and prepare appropriate loan proposals for customer’s consideration.
  • Work closely with processing and underwriting to provide timely information needed to make a credit decision.
  • Understand the guidelines and parameters of the Company’s various loan products to help the customer best choose his loan options.
  • Establish contact with customers by making out-bound calls to inquire of customer’s needs and to sell appropriately loan products.
  • Maximize every opportunity to grow Company portfolio.
  • Perform such other duties as may be requested.
  • Be willing to obtain licensing where needed.
  • Remain compliant with all federal, state, local and Company requirements.

Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly connect with customers in a customer-pleasing manner.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred;
  • Minimum of five years of experience in mortgage sales with a track record of success in the mortgage industry.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills essential along with strong presentation skills.
  • Professional demeanor to effectively interact with all Company personnel.
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to efficiently and consistently produce accurate work and manage time.
  • Extraordinary commitment to customer service with excellent client relations skills.
  • Analytical ability with an aptitude for figures and calculations as necessary.
  • Proficiency with computer systems including MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Internet Browsers.
