Job Title: Loan Officer Assistant -Retention Program

Arc Home LLC., a residential mortgage lender, is owned by AG Mortgage Investment Trust, a publicly traded REIT, and other funds under management of Angelo Gordon, a privately-held investment advisor with approximately $33B of assets under management. Arc Home is a full service, national lender that is an approved Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Ginnie Mae seller / servicer.  With a strong non-QM product set as a result of its relationship with Angelo Gordon and a seasoned management team, the company is planning for substantial growth. 

The Company is seeking a Full-time Loan Assistant- Retention Programs.  The position will report to the Sales Manager and be responsible for communicating with the customer, following up on the initial disclosure package, requesting items needed for the loan origination transaction, overnight documentation as needed for customer, sending denial letters/letters of incompleteness,  and scheduling appointments for the loan officer.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

  • Making outbound calls on leads in the portfolio
  • Warming up leads to transfer to the loan officer
  • Following up on the initial disclosure documents and any other documents that are required to complete the loan transaction
  • Answers incoming telephone calls (multiple lines), resolves customer inquiries within prescribed authority, and when necessary directing calls to the appropriate loan officer or department.
  • Serves as primary receptionist for loan officers.
  • Schedules appointments for loan officers.
  • Provides administrative assistance to loan officers
  • Obtains information related to the consumer loan origination process including: ordering appraisals, environmental reports, credit reports, RESPA documents, preliminary title reports, customer identification verifications, UCC Searches, insurance information, flood certificates and various other items.
  • Prepares and maintains "applications in process/pipeline reports".
  • Completes clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, faxing documents, scanning and organizing and maintaining supplies.
  • Assists lending officers in the preparation of pre-funding worksheets, loan documentation checklists and any other communications necessary to properly submit a loan package to the Loan Processing department.
  • Send out notice of incompleteness letters
  • Send out Adverse Action letters
